This place is amazing. We have enjoyed staying here for 3 years running and plan to return as often as possible. There is absolutely no truth in any negative comments in regards to management. Marianne and Roland are very polite, friendly, and hard working people. The campground is always impeccable due to their hard work. There is so much to do and see in the area. If you're a fisherman, pick a river, there are plenty to choose from. If you are a naturalist, pick a direction, there are hiking trails everywhere. We find new ways to experience the great outdoors each year. This by far our favorite spot in southern Alberta and would recommend it to everyone.

We really enjoyed our Labour Day weekend at Lost Lemon. Our tent site with power backed onto the Crowfoot River - a real babbling brook - where we could fish or just watch the trout from the shore. The washrooms, pool, and common areas were sparkling clean and the owners were pleasant and friendly. They gave us advice on bike riding and local tourist attractions and even jump-started our van when the battery died. Yes, the spaces are on the small side, but we still put 2 tents and a minivan in ours. Also, the other guests were so quiet and pleasant that the close quarters didn't really matter. We decided to consider the nearby trains as an interesting part of the scenery since they were infrequent and not all that noisy. Seems to be very dog friendly - there were many at the campground, all leashed, and well controlled. We will definitely visit again.
