August 2014 | We had several weekends booked for this summer. On July 23 I called as I needed to cancel my Aug 15-17 weekend. I also confirmed we were still coming on Aug 1-4. We finally get there after driving an hour only to be told they cancelled the wrong dates! They had cancelled Aug 1-4 and gave our site away! We asked what they were going to do and were told NOTHING! Now keep in mind the folks who were to go into our site weren't there yet. We said give us the site as we are here now and deal with them when
they come. They said they couldn't do that to someone. I say yea but you can do this to us? We've already spent $500 this year not to mention years previous.
What kind of business offers no accommodation for their mistake? We drove there and back and will NEVER return! FYI firewood is expensive for what you get. The owners are terribly ill prepared as any phone call etc is written in a tiny 2" piece of paper and scattered on the desk! No wonder they can't keep track of things! VERY POOR SERVICE! |
