This campground fills fast on weekends due to it's close proximity to the City of Calgary. It also makes for an excellent late start stop over if you're planning to tour the National Parks. The campground offers campsites for both tents and larger RV's, amphitheatre, playground, interpretive trails, water, laundry, flush toilets, showers, telephone, small store, sani dump and a boat launch. Rates listed are high season rack rates and subject to change - please confirm when booking.

General: Dry firewood is available here for a fee. There are a few easy hikes and bicycle trails that can be accessed from the campground. Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Whitefish can be caught in the Bow River. You'll need a fishing license to try out your luck. Willow Rock Campground, Elk Flats Group Campground, Lac Des Arc Campground, Bow River Campground and Three Sisters Campground are all located near here. |
