Named after Frank Sibbald, a rancher in the Morley area in the 1870s, this recreation area is a hidden place among foothills forests and meadows. Its close proximity to Calgary makes it a easy starting point for hiking, biking, fishing or picnicking.

Notes: Season: early May - Thanksgiving.
This campground offers campsites for both tents and larger RV's, amphitheatre, interpretive trails, dry toilets and water with no hook ups. Dry firewood is available here for a fee. Rates listed are high season rack rates and subject to change - please confirm when booking.

General: Several good trail heads offering excellent hikes can be found on the Powderface Trail. Powderface Trail is a rough and dusty road that is designated 'Use at your own risk'. Night skies here are dark and rank # 3 on the Bortle Scale, the highway to the campground entrance is gravel.
