Season: mid May - late Sept.
There are 98 well treed Campsites available on a first come first serve basis. The campground fills fast on weekends due to it's close proximity to the City of Calgary. This campground offers campsites for both tents and larger RV's, amphitheatre, playground, interpretive trails, dry toilets and water. Dry firewood is available here for a fee.

There are several easy to moderate hikes located just West of here. A short easy, 1.25 hour hike up Powder Face Ridge offers a classic transitional view of, prairies to mountains, with the city of Calgary just visible on the Eastern horizon |
