| This campground offers campsites for both tents and larger RV's, group camping, handicap spots, clean sandy beach, wind surfing, sailing, canoeing & kayaking, play grounds, baseball diamonds, picnic shelters, public phone, showers, water, power, fire wood, picnic tables, sani dump, swimming areas, boat launch, fish cleaning stations and a golf course located adjacent to the park. |

Wabamun Lake has good Whitefish and Pike fishing, you'll need a fishing license to try your luck. This campground is great for families with young children, the kids can spend hours at Moonlight Bay beach and the nearby playgrounds.

General:
Boaters will find a well designed easy to use boat launch with a long dock for mooring. The camp sites are well treed and located in the surrounding Boreal Forest. Wabamun Lake Campground is well maintained but often very crowded. Due to it's close proximity to Edmonton this campground fills fast on weekends. The lake is one of the most heavily used in Alberta. In the summer months expect to see and hear a lot of power boats when near the lake. The campsites are located off the lake with less noise. |
