Overall ok - having to buy the firewood there is not ideal. Friends booked the cook shack for the one night and it worked well (despite the temperature). Great town,but better camping just 20 minutes away at Glennifer Lake (any of the campgrounds there)

One star because I cannot publish with no stars! Booked a camp site for a quick stop over for Saturday night. The forecast called for thunder showers in the area and know one likes to camp in that. So I called back the camp site to as if they could refund my deposit as I have given them more thank enough time (1 full day) to get another camper. They flatly refused sighting their no-refund policy, I asked if we could discuss and they said no and referred me to another person who had the audacity to tell me that my phone call will be considered harassment!! I was totally surprised.. I will never book a site here again.

Very disappointed with the lot size, power only, breaker kept tripping, told us when we got there no outside fire wood had to pay 7.50 a bag! No dump station but only 2mns from the camp ground! Park was very small but my kids enjoyed it and the sand! The lady who runs the campground is not pleasant! We will not be coming here again!
