| Fully serviced, partially serviced and unserviced sites available including beach front campsites. All sites are beautifully maintained and include a picnic table and fire pit. Firewood is available for purchase in the store.
We have sites to accomodate everything from a pup tent to a motorhome. Most of our sites are enclosed by trees for privacy and all of our sites are a short walk away from showers, bathrooms, playgrounds and amenities.
We have facilities to dump waste water and fill your clean water tanks. The store carries a wide variety of supplies for campers including propane.
One of our friendly staff is always available to assist you with any problems you may encounter while camping. When you stay with us... you're family. |

| All Comments and Ratings [2 / 5] August 2015 | Just came home from camping at Old MacDonald's Resort. I have mixed reviews for the experience. I had heard so many wonderful things about this campground. However I was disappointed. The beach is wonderful - clean, beautiful sand and clean water. Perfect for small kids and big kids. The buildings at the beach seemed somewhat derelict. My 14 year old grandson rated the bathroom as "gross".
Our campsite was also a disappointment. The grass was unmowed, it was uneven (like a farmers"s field). The fire pit had been moved several times and there were circles of dirty ashes right outside the door of our RV.. Not good if you have a 4 year old with you. The sites were narrow and we would not have been able to use the fire pit with our awning out.
I thought the petting zoo was unkempt. Many of the buildings looked like they could use some TLC e.g paint and repair. This includes the mini golf course.
There are many attractions which the kids all loved. (we had 4 with us ages 4 to 14). The cost of these things sure adds up at $7.00 for a half hour on a go cart.
Overall the kids had a great week but we would not come back. If someone asks me for a recommendation I would be honest and tell them what I have just told you.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. I hope these comments will help you improve the camping experience for others.

[3 / 5] July 2013 | Started out not great the sites between 425 thru 429 were not great because of the grade the sites slop down hill, Making the flow for the sewer very difficult. When asked to move to the site beside was told yes by the office it was not any better but we lived through it. Then a few days later someone came by saying this was there site when we explained the office had moved us things got worse went to the office and spoke with the same people who had moved us and changed our tag said they never did that and if they did would have told us we'd have to move back within a couple days, if that was the case we'd never had agreed to move. Office staff became very when I said give us our money back for the remaining night and we'd be gone within the hour we were told they don't give refunds. We did have fun with the attractions that the campground offered but don't know if we'll go back because of the rude staff members at the registration office once you check in don't go back and ask to move or anything because they become unfriendly and rude. |
