July 2015 | We stayed with my daughter and her family and another couple with their family. 2 campers and a tent trailer. We had a great site, the camp ground manager went out of his way to accommodate us so we could all fit into one site. He was very pleasant and helpful. It is new campground hosts and will definitely be going back this summer. The river was a blast for kids and adults to float etc. Prices are very reasonable. |

September 2012 | I won't be returning to this campground and will not be recommending it to anyone. Normally you get 1 free tent with a camper site rental. We were charged $210 for 3 nights for a camper and a tent. This is the lesser of the issues I had at this particular campground.
I had a friend come to visit me whom I hadn't seen in 12 years. They were coming to spend a couple hours in the afternoon and have supper with us and the owner of the park gave them a very hard time and limited their visit to 1 hour and demanded a bunch of information and tried to charge them extra to come visit.
Also we were told when we arrived that we were not allowed to burn any firewood that we brought with us but instead were required to pay $8/bundle for small bundles (didn't last an hour) of damp firewood.
Showers were very dirty and being the end of the season the outhouses were nearly unuseable due to needing to be cleaned. |
