| All Comments and Ratings [1 / 5] June 2015 | This place is nothing like what it promises. We went out there hoping that it would be decent. But for what provincial parks charge, you get half a bag of firewood for $8, 2 minute showers for $1, and if you feel like cooling off in the lake then you have to get through a meter of sludge, garbage and seaweed; only to find more seaweed. We paid for 2 nights and left after 1 because of how terrible it was. The owner was extremely rude to us, his wife on the other hand was lovely. Oh and also the bathroom is suppose to be open from 7am-10:30pm but they didn't open until 7:30 and closed early. I strongly recommend going to one of the other campgrounds on Buffalo Lake. The lake itself is huge and has beautiful scenery. Too bad everything else was terrible. |
