August 2015 | One of our favourite campgrounds this year. Amazing views of the mountains, very quiet and very nicely treed. Sites are tight to get into (we're beginners and it took awhile!). The outhouses were the cleanest ones we have ever been in, no smell at all.
Showers you need to buy tokens, and even though there's only one shower house for the whole campground (with 3 showers in each), it was never so busy that you had to wait long. Wood at the store was quite expensive (we brought our own for half the price of what they were selling it for).
VERY bear conscious here - we have a cooler for just water and pop and were asked to put it in so that bears couldn't get in it as we spent a lot of time at our neighbour's campsite (if they got into anything they would have to be put down).
Amazing views, very relaxing, definitely worth a visit! |
